inspiration

I love inspiration boards.  I think Kathryn from Snippet & Ink first had me falling in love with them, but once I started putting some together on my own, there was no turning back.  And once I started doing them I wanted to keep thinking of different ways to use them. So I came up with this idea to have a friend fill out a short survey and from that I create an inspiration board, which in turn I use to create a flower arrangement for said friend.   I am hoping that I'll stick with this and once a month have this special blog post to share with you all.  The first one turned out quite well if I do say so myself.
Here are the survey questions that were answered:
q: What is your favorite color?
a:  green

q: Give me a favorite song OR movie:
a:  Sleepless in Seattle

q: What is your favorite season?
a:  winter

q: What would you most rather be doing on a day off with no responsibilities:
a:  at the beach with a mai tai
b:  at the lake out on the boat with a cooler of beers
c:  at the country estate horseback riding
d:  in the city shopping

From these answers here is the inspiration board I created:

 

First row:  green tulle dress & lights; map door; lady in orange coat pushing Christmas tree

2nd row:  orange chair & wall; orange ranunculus

3rd row: green striped tape;  city of Chicago; hunter boots

4th row: sleepless in seattle; macarons; fleurs sign
